The range of application of metal injection moulding and sinter-based additive manufacturing – both methods offering great freedom to realise even most complex geometries- can be extended by green part processing or post-processing of sintered components.
The webinar highligted the possibility of merging several parts in one component and explain how the potential of the two manufacturing technologies can be increased: Green part processing for instance through lasering and machining, post-processing of sintered parts by applying technologies like hot isostatic pressing, polishing and coating.
